Our beliefs on giving


We believe that generous, cheerful giving is an important part of a believer's worship and that following Jesus often means giving sacrificially so that we can "be the hands and feet" of God's love and so that the "Good News" can be spread. God's Word tells us to pour at least 10% of our resources back into the church and Jesus himself says that our obedience in this unlocks even more of God's blessings (Luke 6:38). 


We even get this guarantee from Malachi 3:10: 


"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

We make it a point to be as biblical as possible with our resources. Following the example of John the Baptist where he says in Luke 3:11: "If you have two shirts, give one to the poor." - we make sure that at at least half of our resources go back out of our doors and are invested into the world around us through ministry and mission. We keep our staff salaries and building expenses low and efficient so we can prioritize this.
